About Stroke Conversations

Stroke Conversations delivers a weekly curated digest of clinically relevant stroke literature from PubMed. An automated pipeline searches, filters, and summarizes recent publications so stroke clinicians can stay current without screening every abstract.

How It Works

  1. Search — On nightly runs, we query PubMed for recent stroke publications across the configured clinical topics and journals.
  2. Filter — A two-pass system (rule-based + AI triage) narrows hundreds of results to the handful most relevant to stroke clinical practice.
  3. Summarize — An AI generates structured summaries highlighting research questions, key findings, study design, and limitations.
  4. Deliver — Summaries are published here and assembled into the weekly stroke digest.

Curated By

Dr. Stephen van Gaal defines the stroke search terms, curation rules, and summarization prompts. Automated systems apply that policy at publication scale.
